This is not just a business.
It’s a calling.
A mission.
A movement.

The Birth of the Pain Warrior Movement
I created NxHLife not as a clinic — but as a movement.
A global family of Pain Warriors.
People who rise, learn, heal, and rewrite their story.
People who refuse to accept:
-
“It’s all in your head.
-
“Just take painkillers.”
-
“Your MRI says you’re broken.”
-
“There’s nothing you can do.”
People who want clarity, community, and real strategies.

Where It All Began
Some people stumble into their purpose.
Mine unfolded step by step — through sport, curiosity, faith, frustration, and a relentless desire to help people suffer less.
I grew up loving movement. Sport was my language long before I had the words to explain biomechanics or pain neuroscience. I spent my childhood running, kicking, swinging, and pushing my body to its limits — fascinated by how it adapted, healed, and strengthened. That love for movement naturally guided me into health, wellness, and eventually physiotherapy.
But my foundation wasn’t just Western science.
Raised in a family rooted in Chinese medicine, I grew up hearing ideas like balance, energy flow, organ systems, stress-memory, digestion, and the belief that symptoms are messengers — not enemies. That “whole-body thinking” shaped me long before I ever entered a lecture theatre.
The Frustration That Changed Everything
When I finally became a physiotherapist, something didn’t sit right with me.
I loved helping people. I loved seeing progress.
But I kept running into the same brick wall:
Our healthcare system is built for acute injuries, not chronic pain.
People came in with MRI scans, arthritis labels, and years of conflicting advice. They were overwhelmed, discouraged, and treated like problems to fix — not people to understand.
I realised something uncomfortable:
The system was accidentally keeping people stuck.
A few new exercises.
A short appointment.
A quick explanation.
A “see-how-you-go” at the end.
But no time for deeper root causes:
-
mental and emotional load
-
stress, trauma, and life context
-
lifestyle and inflammation
-
beliefs, identity, and fear
-
diet, gut health, sleep
-
nervous system regulation
-
the whole person behind the pain
Chasing the Root Cause
I knew I needed more tools. I couldn’t just give the same cookie-cutter exercises and call it healthcare.
So I started searching — diving into functional medicine, nutrition science, neuroscience, behavioural psychology, breathwork, trauma research, and systems biology.
The deeper I went, the more I realised:
Pain isn’t one thing.
Healing isn’t one thing.
People aren’t one thing.
Chronic pain sits at the intersection of biology, psychology, lifestyle, belief, mindset, and environment.
From Physio Next To You (2019) → NxHLife (2025)
In 2019, I started Physio Next To You doing home visits.
It taught me a powerful lesson:
People heal best when they feel supported, understood, and guided — not rushed.
But people kept telling me:
“I’m confused. There’s too much information online.
What actually works for pain?”
That’s when I knew I needed to evolve.
